God in Every Heart
Rush Tully began teaching folk guitar and singing professionally at the age of 15, in New Mexico, where he was raised. His first professional opera gig was at the age of twenty as the youngest male apprentice ever accepted to the Santa Fe Opera\'s apprentice program. Studies took place at the Universities of Southern California, New Mexico, Colorado and the Vienna Conservatory. While in Europe, 2 yrs, he toured extensively for the US Information service doing folk concerts. In the early 70\'s a vocal career in opera, concert, and musical theater repertoire was launched. This included appearances with Milwaukee Florentine, Columbus Opera, Minnesota Opera, Tulsa Grand Opera, and 2 yrs with the Chicago Lyric Opera. And work with such luminaries in the field as Pavarotti, Domingo, Plishka, Milnes, Ghiarov, and Kraus. Now, a published composer and poet, Rush spends a good deal of his time composing sacred choral and solo music - this, the result of a life-long involvement with, and commitment to the church. The second CD of his five CD inquiry into human spirituality and the presence of God within human circumstance is scheduled for release in the spring of 2009.
