Singular and unique are the two best words to describe the music and the ministry of Christian singer, songwriter and recording artist Sam Kauffman. Sam Kauffman has been told she has one of the most unique music ministries in all of Christian music. With over thirty five different musical programs available, Sam's style is hallmarked by her storytelling ability along with her singable music and memorable lyrics. Born into a musical family in Seattle, Washington, Sam Kauffman, a roster artist with NEAG, started to sing and study music at the age of five. At the same time, Sam knew she wanted a lifelong relationship with God. Sam studied piano and voice at the University of Washington and continues to study voice with Dr. Scott Martin at the Academy of the Arts. While her music has received radio airplay across the United States, it is her work with churches across America which remains the focus of her music ministry. Sam has done over 800 concerts, programs, workshops and retreats for church services, women's ministry, children and youth events, schools, conventions and family ministries over the past 10 years. She has traveled extensively across the United States and has sung internationally in Europe and Canada. As the composer and lyricist of 'In This Room,' the international theme song of Kairos Outside, Sam Kauffman is a multi-faceted performer, composer, lyricist, writer and dramatist. She has adjudicated the Vocal Competition for the the Christian Artists Seminar and performed with the San Francisco Family Theater. Her poetry has been published in Felicity and currently she is completing a series of children's stories.
