Whole Lot of Texas a Little Tenn
Let me introduce myself, My name is Sandy Randall and I am from Saginaw, Texas a small town on the Ft Worth, border. I am a country singer and entertainer. I grew up in Nashville, Tenn listening to country music. My all time favorite and inspiration is the late and great Patsy Cline. I have been told I sound like her at times. Music has always been a part of my life. I took choir and band in high school and had planned on majoring in music after graduation but instead I got married and had 3 children. I didn't pursue my music career again until after they were grown and I was on my own. I began again with Karaoke at first, and then I joined a music group here in Ft Worth and started going to open Mic every week. After awhile, I decided to take it a bit farther and started performing around Texas at the many Opry's here. I also decided to try my luck at recording. My first recording was in a karaoke shop. I got really ambitious and started searching for original material to make another recording. After I gathered enough material, I made my first CD in a studio with prerecorded tracks but all original material. It received quite a bit of airplay in Europe and made the top 250 in Indie Tracker Magazine in June 2000. Today I have just completed my best CD ever. It was recorded in Nashville, Tenn with the best session players and all but two songs are original material. I am performing at many more oprys in the Texas area and also I am a part of the Colorado Music Assn and perform at functions in Colorado as well. I have come along way in the last 5 years and I want to continue to go farther. Music is my life and I love performing.
