During junior high school, Imano was awakened and fascinated by dance music, then bought his first synthesizer. He started playing basically anything from rock n' roll to the music scores on school textbook; not to mention TM Network and YMO were played as well. His first original track was music for the play at the school festival. After graduating high school, he participated in some sound unit and techno unit, and then started his DJ career in Tokyo with his motto "DJ is a service industry." He studied the "service industry" in various clubs and events around Tokyo. From 2005, he has been a resident DJ @ tektek, the techno DJ party in his hometown, Machida, Tokyo. Imano's original tracks, catchy but not cheap phrase of the synthesizer with groovy rhythm, have been featured on FM radio stations and Indies music websites and are gaining fairly good reputations. His musical works are not only DJing and dance music, but are also sound effects, music for stage plays, J-pop techno remixes, sound tracks, and so on. February 2007, his original track "Take it back" has been compiled in "Various Artists Vol.2" released from 6p-records.
