In February of 2004, two bands by the names of Die Rise Again and La Epidemia broke up simultaneously allowing for a combination of members to come together in music. With four original members including Tony Garcia, Steve Lynch, Mike Solorzano, And Jorge Vega, the band faced many challenges which led to the band becoming a trio. But that didn't stop THE MACHIINE. Instead Tony, Steve, And Jorge pressed on pursuing what all bands ultimately search for; A following but getting signed by a major label goes without saying. Combining their talents and influences, they came up with the unique sound they now perform across the bay . With Spanish and English Lyrics, their prospect audience has expanded and the fan count grows every time they play moving forward like a well oiled machine.In May of 2005 they released a five song Demo. The demo went out all over the place and landed them several shows and the beginning of areputation .They made their debut at the Epidemic in June and the people didn't know what to make of it. Metal? in Spanish?Savage bombarded the internet world with promotional material to get the name out. In October 0f 2004, Avage played their first acoustic show at Blakes in Berkeley for Man Down Productions. In November, they were to play in their home town of Brentwood and decided to do something off the wall so Jorge debuted His Luchador Mask of Mil Mascaras. The crowd went wild in amusement and approval so they adopted the new character under the name 'The Legend'.The band continued playing and recorded their first studio demo at Popsmear Studios in San Rafael at the biginning of 2005 and released a New and updated four song demo in January. In February of 2005, the band came to a screeching halt when Steve fell ill for several weeks after their performance at Slims in San Francisco. Rather than sit around, the other two members put several plans into play which would eventually come into fluision.New material was brought out to practice, and a lot of hours were spent online trying to get the Savage Word out. In July 2005, they peformed at the Sugarlight Porductions Battle of the Bands at THE POUND in San Francico and tied for first place with the local San Francisco band sending both bands to the FINALS in September. More shows followed like The Epidemic in Brentwood and The Wallace Arms in Antioch where seeveral new fans were added to the mailing list and giving them the will power to keep moving forward with their plans to release their debut album 'Dementions'sometime in November. Which is what you are going to buy now. So don't be surprised if you see them terrorizing your town. And don't be alrmed, they are Mexican.
