Have You Scene Yourself
'We are like the awkward fellow who has just drank enough wine coolers to gain enough courage to finally join his first internet dating website. We await the awkwardness of first dates and last kisses.' 'Have You Scene Yourself' is the debut album from the electronic music trio, Scenery. From the guitar (and Ronald Regan) driven opener 'Ever Present Vectors' to the avant-garde meets folk/pop closer 'This Solitary Life', the album provides an eclectic journey through insane beats, hypnotizing soundscapes and soulful melodies. This dense album contains something new each time it is listened to. Every layer is intertwined to form an odd and wondrous skin over the music's delicate heart for the listener to peel back and reveal. This album was recorded in one month (February 2009 to be specific) as part of the RPM Challenge.
