CD Review: Short agonies Musical gems are usually hard to find especially under the tons of so called self-produced CDs in New York City. Here is one you should listen to if you like to wind down after the daily grind in the Big Apple. French based composer Sébastien Guillen has crafted eighteen pieces of classical music strikingly well performed by violinist Patricio Díaz-Canas from Spain. Look out for a work titled: Short Agonies, a misleading title after all, since it is no agony to listen, but sheer pleasure. Holger Beckmann.
