Something Vital\'s modern rock sound has been described as indescribably describable. Formed in 2006 in Seattle, Something Vital plays music that rocks like gravel, is catchy like a cold, intricate like a pinecone, beautiful like your sister, and fits it all into radio friendly songs. While no one outside the band has said they are the best band to come out of Seattle since The Kingsmen, they probably are. Here are some things people had to say about Something Vital. \'I thought I was walking into a strip club. Turns out it was a Something Vital show. I didn\'t mind so much, that is one sexy band.\' Ben \'The Psycho Muppet\' The Mens Room 99.9 KISW \'Something Vital is an up and coming Seattle band comprised of an energetic, talented and sometimes raucous group of musicians. You can always expect a solid performance from this talented group, yet with unexpected subtleties that make each show a unique experience. They know how to command the stage and are a pleasure to watch. Look for good things to come from this band!\' Jamie Richards Co-Founder and Producer of The Layne Staley Fund \'I've had the chance to see this band only once live, but the critical-mass energy that they slammed down the audience's throat was more than enough to leave a mark.\' Douglas Harenchar, Mutineer Magazine Something Vital is: Dane Larsen-vocals Brent Young-guitar Gil Covarrubias-bass Kevin Past-drums.
