Spleen produces acoustic Pop-Rock combining a multitude of musical influences, styles and flavours. The mixture of acoustic and electric guitars and a unique voice creates the characteristic sound of the band. The band was brought to life in 2001 and lived a real success story since then. After playing during months in small clubs all over Luxembourg, the band recently played on very large stages with international stars (Silbermond, K-Maro, Gentleman,...). The first two singles from the new album immediately entered in peak positions on local radio stations. The creative output of the first two years can be heard on Spleen's first album 'Heels over head' that was released in October 2003 and is available in most record shops in Luxembourg. Spleen had the opportunity to record at Duke's studio in Belgium. Working with Venus'(Belgium) sound engineer proved a valuable experience for the band. The second album 'Uncoated' was recorded in Luxembourg in 2005 and provided all members with precious experience and advice from a sound engineer and producer. The third album will appear in January 2008. The line-up of Spleen is as follows: Françoise Grethen (Vocals), Cédric Neiens (Guitars and Vocals), Christian Peckels (Guitars), Fränk Drews (Bass), Michel Feinen (Drums).
