Product Notes

This debut album was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City and is also available on independent label To Your Head Records (toyourhead.com) COME VISIT US!! Co-songwriters Megan Spooner and Roderick Hohl were the core members of Fellaheen from 1989 until the year 2000. Both musicians have recorded and produced equally beautiful and heart-woven Alt-Folk, Prog-Rock solo gems since the break up of one of New York City's most important and least reported bands of the 1990's. Variously described as: 'what might have come to fruition if Lene Lovich had collaborated with Frank Zappa.' -Toronto's NOW NEWSPAPER 'plaintive as Patti Smith then springs on you like an over-sexed malamute.' -Todd Inoue, San Jose METRO 'punk poetics that eventually swells into a full throttle rockfest.' -SF BAM Magazine The band Fellaheen won a 1998 Bessie Award (NYC performance art/dance award) for musical composition of a for performer/choreographer David Neumann alongside The Kronos Quartet. Megan Spooner's 'Calm Down Little Horsey! Vol 1' was released in May of 2004 on To Your Head Records. Mp3's are available................. Rod Hohl's solo debut 'Max Green' is available at Surprise Truck.com.
