'Reflections' is an emotionally-charged sharing of Stan's Christian faith and trust in the Lord. These songs emphasize the importance of a personal relationship with, and reliance on, Him. ****************** Stan enjoys performing a variety of musical styles and genres, ranging from easy listening to progressive jazz, progressive country, pop, light rock, and Christian music. Stan originally hails from Sapulpa, Okla., a town near Tulsa, Okla. But currently resides in Houston, Texas. Singing has had an important place in his life from the time he was a small child. Stan and his brother Steve sang with their mother in church as she sang & played the piano. Stan has sung with a number of groups, choirs, quartets, and ensembles. He sang lead in the gospel quartet, 'Gospel Representatives,' in northeast Oklahoma. He was principle soloist with First Praise. Stan's vocal range is unusually wide - from A, 2 octaves below middle C to D, an octave above middle C. Stan can sing Bass, Baritone, and/or Tenor parts (but not all at once!) Stan sings with the St. Laurence Chamber Singers in Sugar Land, Texas. The group performs classical pieces in semi-annual concerts under the direction of Mr. Kevin Klotz. Stan has had lead acting and singing roles in a number of programs, plays, and musicals. Most significantly, he portrayed Professor Harold Hill in the production of the Broadway musical, 'The Music Man.'
