Steve Morrison has been professionally producing instrumental music tracks for nearly 20 years and counting. His most prominent musical influences growing up were christian artists. From his teenage years and beyond he was influenced by a wide array of artists from several genres. Some of the most dominant influences have been Andrae' Crouch (gospel great), Vince Guaraldi (jazz pianist), Ronn Huff (symphony composer), John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith (movie composers) and, more recently, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (rock-opera style band). Steve's project is called HOLY JAZZ and was first released in 2005. It evolved over a period of three years. The dominant theme is divine joy which Steve believes is a free gift offered by Jesus to all who choose to receive Him. The project was inspired and birthed as a result of a late night prayer time Steve had in his living room during the winter of 2002. Steve has been happily married to Vicki for 28 years and counting. They have two children - Andrew (age 26), and Sarah (age 24). They all serve in various capacities at their local church (Jubilee Revival Center, Dresden, Ohio). Steve has served as composer/producer of many custom-made instrumental tracks for various artists and organizations.
