This unique Dutch group from Northern Holland plays original folk music sung in their local dialect of their home province Groningen, and played on bluegrass instruments plus accordion. "There are some especially enjoyable passages where the mandolin and accordion play instrumental breaks in unison, a surprising good marriage of sounds. But the band stays melodically and thematically close to bluegrass. An example is "Zoltkamp,"a true song about a fishing village which suddenly found itself away from the coast after a dike was build to reclaim the land.
