THE CATHOLIC COMMUNITY OF ST. JAMES NEWSLETTER Dear Catholic Community of St. James, Peace be with you and may grace abundantly be yours. Recently, a friend of mine, Sue Ann Pinner, released a new CD called ILLUMINATION. The title song is about Pope John Paul II; a hopeful, lovely melody and words she wrote to honor a great and holy Father. Sue Ann has five other CD's published. Her music is uplifting and inspirational. One of her recordings of the AVE MARIA is filled with various versions of this beautiful song in honor of Our Lady. You can purcahase her CD's online at CD Baby and iTunes. Her CD's make a great gift for anyone who loves music. Blessings and Grace Rev. Charlie Cicerale Sue Ann Pinner, internationally known singer/composer and Emmy Award winner, has four best-selling recordings including AVE MARIA, MARIACHI, MAGNIFICAT-THE DIVINE POWER OF SINGING, and ADOREMUS. AVE MARIA remains the top seller for Ave Maria Press of the University of Notre Dame. Seeds for Sue Ann's 5th recording, ILLUMINATION, were first planted on August 5, 1993, when Greg Schreiner, President of Marilyn Remembered, asked her to sing two songs at the annual memorial service for Marilyn Monroe in Westwood, California. ILLUMINATION includes Sue Ann's inspirational interpretations of Monroe's favorite song 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow', and Schreiner's original song, 'Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep', based on an anonymous Native American Indian poem. The recording also features Sue Ann's captivating new vocal arrangement of Ludwig van Beethoven's 'Moonlight Sonata' called 'Moonlight Ave', and the uplifting signature song 'Illumination'.
