Ride of Your Life
With all the music today that is tracked, canned, and computerized, Summer Street has brought back a 'Take One' recording style that will take you on a true musical journey. When you hear this music, it is hard to believe that it is a three-piece band recording live. They refuse to trade in feel for perfection without missing a note. There is no denying that this is real music, by real musicians, playing for the true love of music. 'High Surf Advisory' is a mystical adventure, a liquid vortex of sound. 'Just A Game' is a pscho-sexual must hear driving sound that has no equal. 'You Don't Know' is unique and captures the heart. John Lemus (Lemo), songwriter/bass and rhythm keys/vocals, his unique style influenced by the Classic Rock groups of the 70's and 80's is totally original with hooks that stick in your head. Listen once or twice and it grows on you. John Peskorz (Neo), songwriter/rhythm/lead guitar/vocals from Wisconsin ran the full music spectrum from making a set of drums at 6 years old from his mom's pots and pans to studying music in college. Neo by a stroke of fate moved to Golden, Colorado. Neo formed many music groups and toured playing all the classic rock tunes. A Gibson Les Paul became Neo's instrument of choice and is totally spellbinding. Fleet Parsons, Drums/percussion arrangements, also from Golden, Colorado, playing music for years, touring with different groups and previously in a group with Neo ended up in Golden in 2003. Summer Street was complete when Fleet joined the group on June 1, 2003. For the fun and love of music Summer Street released 'The Ride Of Your Life'.
