Sunday Jolayemi, a graduate of Applied Geology, Federal University of Technology, Akure Ondo State of Nigeria is an indigene Of Okemesi- Ekiti in Ekiti state of Nigeria. He had his industrial training in seismic interpretation at the exploration department of MOBIL PRODUCING NIGERIA UNLIMITED, Lagos state of Nigeria. After his graduation from the university, he went for National Youth Service Corps programme in Nigeria where he was actively involved in community development projects. During that period he produced a musical album titled 'Prayer Song for Nigeria' as his personal development project in Lagos State. The album was used to campaign for peace, love, unity and the spirit of giving helping hands to the poor in Nigeria. The music 'Prayer Song For Nigeria' enjoys many free air plays on major radio ( e.g. Ray Power fm, Eko Fm, BCOS fm, OGBC 2 Fm) and TV stations like National Television Authority (NTA) and African Independent Television (AIT) in Nigeria. He also produced a song titled AIDS Is Real to campaign against the spread of AIDS/ HIV among the youths. Although Jolayemi had training also in Basic media and Audio Engineering at School of Audio Engineering in London, It is note-worthy that he had no formal training in music but has successfully developed the talent by a dint of hard work, dedication, and association with colleagues in the music industry. Sunday has been singing, writing and composing songs since his childhood with hundreds of songs to his credit. His role models are people that sing meaningful and inspirational songs. Apart from geology and music, Sunday loves sports which he was involved in during his higher school days. He was the Sports Prefect at Lagelu Grammar School in Oyo State of Nigeria in 1991/1992 Jolayemi enjoys making peace and encouraging people to move closer to God and be creative, humble and generous to mankind. Sunday Jolayemi intends to use all his talents to the glory of God.
