Falling for Nothing
Out of all the trends of today's vast music world, Sunday Slacks is a band that won't soon be forgotten. Rapidly gaining a reputation for it's unique sound, this Las Vegas quartet continually impresses audiences and has emerged as one of the premiere bands in the area. Influenced by styles such as jazz, funk, pop and rock; it doesn't take long before listeners are enamored by the particular tone the group is able to create. “Alluring melodies, captivating music, thoughtful dynamics and emotional lyrics help create the rich vibe for which the band is becoming known.†Formed in 2004, Sunday Slacks burst onto the local music scene and within only a few months, they had already opened for Epic recording artist Val Emmich and received radio air-play on KOMP 92.3. National attention was soon to follow with their appearance on Fuse TV's 'Amplified Guide to Las Vegas.' Several radio stations around the country now have tracks from the band’s first independently released EP, “Falling for Nothing,†playing in regular rotation.
