Superphonic Theory is a hybrid of power and root rock inspired by classic influences. Born in Columbus, Ohio in 2004 the members, coming from diverse backgrounds had one thing in common. A love for the classics. Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, The Beatles. Just to name a few. They wanted to form a band where the music was pure and stripped down while steering clear of common trends. Tying it together with socially relevant and emotional lyrics. The result was a fusion of new and old. Something that sounds familiar with an edge and nuances creating a sound and a vibe that is truly unique. In the summer of 2005 Superphonic Theory started recording their first full length album. Taking they're stripped down philosophy into the studio with them. The result is a raw and live sounding album filled with great riffs and passionate playing. Reflecting the hardships of the outsider and the social and personal conflicts that goes with it . From the acoustic opening of "Orange" into the glass shattering full on power of "Killing Stone". The heartfelt feel of "fractured" and The pop inspired " flavor of the month". The album is well rounded with a little something for everyone.
