B I O G R A P H Y : Born in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY, half puerto Rican, half Sicilian and American, and raised on Long Island, NY. Suzette began singing,dancing and acting at a very early age. In Junior High School, Suzette became involved with every aspect of the arts, including acting, dance, learning guitar and chorus. She found her true passion on the stage and seized every opportunity to Polish her talent and pursue singing. Suzette attended Five Towns College in New York, where she earned a degree in Music Business. At Five Towns College, Suzette got involved with everything that would perfect her singing career. She had lead roles in such classic musicals as 'I Want Your Boyfriend,' sang at the Schools Upbeat Cafe and performed with various bands as their lead singer. After graduation, Suzette's restless heart decided the road was not wide enough and took her act overseas. In London, Suzette performed at area Pubs including The Green Dragon and Tullulahs. Londoners were awestruck by the 'girl from New York.' Suzette's shows quickly became the talk of the town. Her performance was once characterized in 'Out Cry' as having an 'energetic stage presence.' Suzette's return to New York had generated a buzz with her first album 'In A Different Light,' in 1998, produced by Ron Zabroki, which carried her earthy, sexy style in the pop rock groove. Her album reviews were publicized as 'Ready to play with the big boys.' In 1999, a crossover 4 song CD single was released in Spanish and English titled SUZETTE. Shortly after the new Millennium, Suzette released 'Estoy Aqui', a Latin American & Pop album dedicated to her puerto rican grand mother 'Abuelita,' to give her fan's a collection of her many backround styles. Suzette's golden heart is always available, donating her talents for, LIFEBEAT (AIDS patients in New York City), 'Dock of the Bay Alliance' which benefited AIDS; Breast Cancer benefits, IN GOD'S LOVE WE DELIVER, The March Of Dimes and fund-raisers, for the community. Suzette also performs popular cover songs at dance clubs, bars,local concerts, Festivals and bookstores. Suzette performed at Long Islands 'Puerto Rican Parade 99 & 2000', Westbury Music Fair for the first ever 'Salsa Explosion 99' and at the Brookhaven Amphitheater for the 'Long Island Rising Stars Concert 2000.' Suzette has been living out in Terre Haute, Indiana, stoping her career (that was taking her to the next level in her singing career) taking care of her precious father the past two years, who has recently past away from Lung Cancer in 2003. After the devistation of losing her oldest sister and her niece from AIDS, her step Father from a failed heart and her real father from Lung Cancer, Suzette moved to Arizona from New York and became a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Director. Learning that staying healthy was the most important thing in everyone's life and true love, and passion for people and life.
