For Two It Us
Nominated Best of the Year by the NM Music Awards! Who, What, How, and maybe Why: Lisa/Liz sings and plays acoustic guitar and banjo. Guy/Ed sings and plays acoustic, electric, resonator, and bass guitars; blues harp; mandolin. How fortuitous that Ed and Liz, in the same place at the same time, carried their instruments to an unexpected party for two where they sang and played their hearts out for lost souls, foul weather, lust, and small animals. John Wall has a great studio and a good set of ears. It's not that the ears are particularly large or noticeable. They're just good. He is a fingersnappin' fool, an egg player extraordinaire and a purveyor of advice and cold beer. At Wall of Sound Studios, it's easy to be in a good mood--lots of toys! Instruments: the extensions of our bodies that produce the sounds: Banjos: 1975 Ome 5 string banjo, Christy long neck banjo (probably a 60s instrument) Guitars: Bourgeois, Taylor, National Reso Rocket (resonator), Peavey Odyssey (electric), Epiphone Electric Bass Mandolin: Old Wave F-Style Amplification: Fender Twin Amp For 'Psycho Banjo', our hidden track, only the banjo and Liz run through the Blaze Audio program: what a fun toy!
