An effortless blend of original folk/ folk rock /country/blues 'Druthers' was obviously a work of love for everyone involved. Produced by guitarist Nina Gerber, the combination of players is tasty, the music is rich and varied. Songs that speak of the power and fragility of self and friendship and love, of being lost and finding the way back again. These are songs you can listen to again and again. Teresa Chandler has been a singer/songwriter all her life. She says of 'Druthers', 'There are many different genres here because I'm having a very wide life, thank you very much. It doesn't bother me, but people who would like to be able to sell music or book shows by focusing on a clear-cut genre find it problematic. I, however, enjoy life painted with a broad brush.'
