Teri Miller Livin' Everyday
Anointed to worship. More than anything else this describes Teri Miller's heart, voice and music. With it's fresh vocals and unique instrumentation, Teri's debut album, Livin' Everyday takes you on a one-of-a-kind journey into the Lord's presence. This CD blends Teri's joy for worshiping God with her love for smooth jazz. It has been described as "an incomparable, ground-breaking sound of Jazzy Praise." Teri's passion is to lift up the name of Jesus, to live a life surrendered to His Call and to sing of the Lord's great love forever. (Ps. 89:1, 2) Teri has loved to sing all of her life. Born and raised in Michigan Teri grew up participating in the choir at church and school. She is a graduate of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During her time at ORU she had the opportunity to minister in Australia for a summer and travel across the United States ministering in music. Most recently, Teri has traveled to South Africa to lead worship at a John Maxwell EQUIP Leadership Training event in Durban. The true joy of her heart is leading worship. Teri is currently one of the worship leaders at Cornerstone Church in Highland, Michigan. She and her husband Michael have been attending and serving in the music ministry there for over 20 years and have 3 children who are all involved in their own respective worship teams. Early musical influences are a mixture of Contemporary Christian and secular Pop/Jazz: Amy Grant, Brian Duncan, Keith Thomas, George Benson, Chicago, Stevie Wonder and Anita Baker. Current favorites include: Kirk Whalum, Martha Munizzi, Mary Alessi, Ken Reynolds, Chris Botti and Gail Engling. "I highly recommend Teri to any church. She has a way about her that is authentic and so contagious. She has a great voice and an ability to lead people into the presence of God. I am honored every time she is a part of our services."
