Product Notes

Terrorwrist The Hip Hop Musician 'Life Begins Now' is the second release from Terrorwrist, the founding and crucial member of the New Jersey indie Hip Hop crew, Otha Ish. This is the first release from Otha Ish since last year's 'Illectricity'. If 'Illectricity' was slept on, there's no doubt that 'Life Begins Now' will help push Terrorwrist to a wider audiance. This album possesses a soundscape of old school break beats, turntablism and creative sampling, clouded by marijuana smoke. Lyrically, Terrorwrist is quite diverse. He will spit carefully shaped lyrical styles to fit the mood of the sculpted syphony behind him. You can just nod your head to the funky bassline of 'It's All' or wil' out to 'Microphone Check'. The album tackles various topics. As Terrorizzle (as the smoooth call him), gives both the government and seemingly mentally challanged bar hopping vally girls on 'Take A Dollar' and 'Rather Be With You' respectively. Wheather it's the unpredictable story telling of songs like 'I Stalked HER' or 'Unidentified', or the pure rawness of 'Ambush', this album is a great pick up for anyone looking for some origional fresh hip hop.
