Known as the 'little lady with the big, but rich voice'. Tess has been singing since she was 6 years old, participating in schools' broadway-type productions, she has blossomed into the singer/songwriter she is today. Tess plays guitar, mandolin and some keyboards, and writes songs in the traditional country style - due to her childhood influences. Tess has reached the level of 'finalist' for the Association of Songwriters and Lyricists' 'Crystal Music Award' in 1998, her winning song being published in an anthology/collection entitled 'On the Road'. Tess has been fronting and managing the SF bay area local band - Silver Spur since 1996, while still maintaining her fulltime job as a local freelance Art teacher in Contra Costa County, CA. Using her talents for various community and fundraising events, Tess may very well be called the 'little lady with the big heart'.
