Australian born Theresa Behenna is an internationally acclaimed pianist and recording artist with over 2,000 songs in her repertoire. Describing herself as "young and fearless but totally unrelated to Olivia Newton John", Theresa left her native homeland to pursue a musical career that began on a cruise ship in the South Pacific and resulted in several years of touring the world on a piano bench. Her outgoing personality and mastery of the keyboard opened global doors from Tahiti to Tokyo and Singapore to Switzerland appearing in some of the world's most prestigious hotels and resorts. With over 20 years experience, Theresa has entertained thousands of people from all cultures encountering many celebrities along the way including Andrew Lloyd Webber, Princess Grace, Donald Sutherland, Elton John, Matt Lauer, President George Bush Sr., and 'James Bond'. She has been interviewed by newspapers, radio and TV stations in twelve different countries. A business opportunity lured Theresa to Texas in 1982 where she quickly became one of Houston's most renowned piano entertainers playing in the city's top venues. Since then her amazing talent has been in demand at special events locally and throughout the United States largely due to her specialty of getting audiences involved in the music. Theresa's extraordinary career was highlighted in 2006 when she was chosen by Coca Cola to perform at the Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy. Her popular solo piano CD "Songs for Friends" was released in 2001. In addition to her successful music business Theresa is an award winning motivational speaker that plays the piano during her entertaining keynote presentations at conferences throughout the country. She is a contributing author to the anthology "Rekindling the Human Spirit" (Liberty publishing 2003) and writes numerous articles, blogs and newsletters for clients and fans. Theresa resides in Houston, Texas where she has yet to sound like a native Texan.
