THIRD SEASON is a Nashville based 5-piece original pop-rock band that started out in Detroit, MI in 2000. In the fall of 2001, they released their first CD titled 'Insane'(available for purchase right here on CDBaby). The band did very well in the Detroit area and received positive feedback about their live shows and original music from publications such as RealDetroit and Jam Rag Magazine. The song 'Ordinary Day' was favorably reviewed and featured nationally in The Reader's Tapes section of the January 03 issue of RECORDING magazine. In August of 2002, lead vocalist Autumn Kerr moved to Nashville, TN and put together a new lineup. Autumn and new members immediately began playing live and writing new material. They released a second CD in November of 2004, entitled 'Different State of Mind' (this CD can be purchased on the band's website using paypal). On this 10 song project, the band was lucky enough to work with renowned artist Phil Keaggy - who engineered and co-produced as well as played lead guitar on two of the tracks. Immediately after the release of 'Different State of Mind', station D93.3 in Bowling Green, KY began playing music from it on their Sunday night local talent segment and scheduled the band for an on-air interview in May 05. Presently, the band is working on new material while continuing to Polish their performance skills by playing live on a regular basis in Nashville, Bowling Green and surrounding areas. They have already played Nashville venues such as French Quarter Cafe, The Sutler, Boardwalk Cafe and 3rd & Lindsley. ---------- A few press snipets about our first CD 'Insane': 'Third Season 'Insane' is technically great, certainly inspired, great lyrics (really great), strong instruments and it rocks without a boring lull anywhere. My radio picks: tracks 2,4,5 & 6. If I pick 4 tracks from any CD - that's a good radio play CD.' - Mark Caldwell 'flyingman' DJ from Chattanooga State College Radio (91 Rock WAWL) (Feb 2003) 'A tight band executing very well'. - January 2003 issue of Recording Magazine (Readers' Tapes Section) quote taken from article written about Third Season's song 'Ordinary Day'.
