Kate Stables has been recording and releasing music as This Is the Kit since 2005. In May of 2018, Kate and her band took some time off from their busy tour schedule supporting The National and treated us to a very intimate and special performance. Stables' uniquely-textured voice possesses a tone that quietly reels you in, and - following the tradition of exquisitely strange troubadours like Karen Dalton, Will Oldham, or Robert Wyatt - is simply arresting.
