Letter from Caulk's Creek
Tim Houlihan is a singer-songwriter based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Tim's songs come from an acoustic-guitar foundation and are influenced by music around the world: Latin, Irish, jazz, rock, raggae, and others. His music is often described as living room music, songs that are best played in the living room of a home: intimate, warm, and comfortable. This is Tim's first record, 'Letter from Caulk's Creek' released in 1999. It contains 12 songs of acoustic-guitar-based music. Mostly folk sounds, with some world beats and sounds of Ireland and Portugal, the songs are inspired by Edgar Lee Masters, Ina Colbrith, the hills of Eastern-Missouri, a child's view of the world, and a beach town named Portimao.
