Music from Earth
Live shows summon up imagery of oil paint spilled on an old black and white photo. A sonic landscape bleeds onto the venue tiles and the crowd steps inside the groove. Sounds like: Bono singing for Oasis with Jeff Buckley on guitar. Raw emotion and raw sound with a psychedelic groove. Tim Korry is a singer/songwriter fronting a three piece indie rock band. They have been together as a band for only a year, but have worked with the bass player for 15 in a band named Rhinocerotic. In this band they opened for Green Day, Badfinger, played post Black Crowes, and played the Jenny Jones show. 2007 marked Tim's debut solo CD. Tim recently appeared (10/31/08) on Milwaukee's 102.1 Kramp and Adler show in a rare radio interview. Musical influences are: U2, Peter Gabriel, Jeff Buckley, Stereophonics, SRV, The Beatles, Oasis, Radiohead... Tim's debut solo CD MUSIC FROM EARTH is a new sonic glimpse into the darkness of relationships and the light of self discovery. All songs were written, played, mixed, and produced by Tim Korry. Tim recently had the pleasure of working with a local filmaker on a video for my song 'All My Colors' which is featured on youtube. Plans for more videos and new CD are in the works.
