Symphony in 3 Movements
Composed by Allan Loucks, and performed by Tin Ear. Movement 1: This energetic fanfare-like rondo starts the symphony, setting the pace for what's to come. Movement 2: The main themes of the symphony are developed, contrasted, and foreshadowed in this melodic triple fugue. Movement 3: From cloud-like tone-clusters, to fluid melodies, to frantic percussive passages, this expansive rondo-sonata movement explores a wide range of emotional interpretations.
