Token has never been the type of person to settle for being anything less than the best. So when he discovered his love for making music, it was inevitable that he would eventually be one of the best to enter the game. \'I\'ve always been that way\', Token admits. \'If I did something, I always had to be the best at it. If I wasn\'t good at it, it would always lose my interest.\' Token discovered his natural talent for music as a young boy in high school listening to beats. His friends would beat-box, and he started rapping. Little did he know, he was about to discover a gift that would take the game by storm. It wasn't until college that Token explored his talent as a musician. Using his laptop and some instruments he owned, Token started experimenting with instruments and the various sounds they could produce. Now, his experimental beats and hip hop rhythms have placed him at the top of his game. Inspired by greats like Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, E-40, and The Neptunes, Token, now a full-time student/musician, has continued to perfect his art over the years, determined to make a successful career out of his passion for hip hop music. Unlike the many carbon-copy producers that saturate the industry today, Token continues to create original songs with a recognizable soul-inspired style that has heads nodding from New York to California. His second studio album, Acoostick.Base.Drumz, features various instruments such as the violin, electric and acoustic bass, electric and acoustic guitars, drums, tubas, trumpets, and even cowbells.
