Product Notes

Tommy Peacock and the Gas are a rock n' roll band that formed in Los Angeles in late 2006. Singer/guitar player Tommy Peacock from Detroit, Michigan moved West when earlier attempts at music failed. Like other Star-starved Mid-Westerners before him, Tommy saw the sunshine and began his quest in forming a great rock n' roll band. Eric Hallinan (drummer) was interested in finding a singer for his metal band. The two met/jammed and immediately showed musicianship and songwriting styles that complemented each other. Early recordings such as 'Somebody's Keeping me up All Night' and 'She's a Lady' display a good pulse and a catchy tune. While in a recording session, the studio engineer gave a nickname for Eric that stuck, Eric 'Hoolligan' Hallinan. The two played together in an 8 by 8 room for the whole summer of 2006. The stars aligned exactly one year after Tommy moved to LA when he got a call from Kyle Barton. Kyle (bass), true So-Cal native, answered The Gas's add on the Internet. Living across the city the three managed to play together on a regular basis. Kyle versed in punk-rock, with his 'eighth note style' was the glue. His willingness to complete the sound and join the fun gave The Gas their exciting start. Touring Southern California The Gas has built up hype, they live up to every time they step on what they call 'the sacred stage'. Some of their most popular originals include 'The Kids Say', 'Attitude!', 'Hate to Break it to ya' and 'Bang your Head'. Tommy Peacock and the Gas plans to release their debut album in Fall 2008'.
