Product Notes

Tony Youngblood began his musical career at the age of 9, recording odd noises on old tape recorders and bouncing them together. In high school, he graduated to a 4 track tape record and made voluminous amounts of hissy, low-fi strangeness. In college, he founded the legendary live experimental improv radio show ~ORE~ Prefab Audio Extrapolations, featuring his earlier field recordings. From there, he produced the ultra-rare cult albums, \'Recorder\' and \'Timothy & The Poo Poo Heads.\' On \'Let\'s Play Havoc,\' Tony finally cuts his teeth with a live band and a real studio. It\'s no polished gem, and it\'s not intended to be. The album was recorder mostly live with the help of Frank Black & The Catholic\'s guitarist Rich Gilbert, Country session legend Jimmy C. Clark, and Tarbox Rambler\'s Scott McEwan at bass and the helm. The result is a loud, immediate, blast of rock n\' roll, punk, and alt-country, imperfect, textured, and a hell of a good album.
