This all started as a happenstance musician's jam in a cavernous 15th century apartment in the Old Town of Nice, South of France. It was 4 a.m., many candles burning and many, very many, empty bottles of Côte du Rhône and Kronenbourg and 1664 around and, as the bar-partiers were dumping out of the nearby pubs and thrashing into the hot summer streets a couple of stories below, the several jammers closed the tall double-pane windows and just....started coming up with songs together. Very quickly. They were shocking themselves, really. And they kept on drinking and playing and making. And some weeks later, with more and more sessions like this-and paused only for cigarette-rolling or the necessary morning beer haul over from Rue Gioffredo, and with the daily work of fine tuning-all of these free-flow jams yielded fistfuls of finished music. And then it was on-and-on dusk-til-dawn parties with bunches of friends over dancing and drinking and making out to the music. The wood of the guitars, the beats, the voices, the smoke, the Mediterranean heat, the glowing of the candles off the bottles and face. That's where Vibe Triibe is, and stays. Where you are. Those four musicians, circumstantially smacked together there on the French Riviera, came to decide that they were Vibe, because they were vibe. And they were Triibe, because they were triibe. And they were Triibe with two "i"s , because the third "i" was the Third. It was. (And they'd discovered that the domain name without the extra "i" was already taken). There in that apartment on Rue Benoit Bunico, the founding four Vibe multi-nationals, were at the core beginning of their long sweating music orgy. ...and the orgy moves back and forth to New York City now....
