If you could describe Virginya Gray in one word, it would be firey. She has not only been singing for as long as she can remember but she plays guitar, piano, and loves writing and producing her own songs. Her stage presence is like no other and the passion this young singer has for music and life in general is just so invigorating. Music is the language she speaks and V wants to learn as many instruments and styles as possible, she has most recently started playing the trumpet like one of her many influences, Louis Armstrong. In the past few years Virginya has gotten to perform at coffee shops, in community theatre, and even with hard core hip hop shows. The variety is what keeps the music going for Miss Gray and though she doesn't like to label music she is mostly a soul singer who does R&B, some jazz, pop, and a little Reggae. V has also had the chance to write, produce, and record 2 albums on her own, as well as perform wherever the stage is set. These past few months alone she got to sing at the Loft Jazz club downtown, in addition to a competition held at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, and getting to play her dreamrole as 'Chiffon' in Little Shop of Horrors. Next month Virginya is shooting her first music video with a close crew of talented friends and family, to be released hopefully in early September. Also, V wants to plan a small tour to spread her music farther. Her career has been as unpredictable as her style but her fans love being along for the ride!
