Whether working with prison ministries or general audiences, Vision's unique style and honest testimonies deal with the real struggles of life and reveal the God who saves. 'When singing and giving testimony to a prison audience, you can't fake it,' said Mark (song writer, vocalist, and lead guitar). 'We're dealing with people who've pretty much hit bottom. We've had to write about real life issues and make God real.' It turns out, though, people on both sides of the fence have similar needs. Whether the venue is a prison, a homeless shelter, or a church, people are looking for real experiences with God. Vision's music covers a spectrum of styles including blues, jazz, country, folk-rock, swing, and ballads. But many of their songs don't easily fit into a category. 'A lot of people tell us they've never heard this kind of Christian music,' said Ron (rhythm guitar and harmonica). 'We sing about real, everyday spiritual battles...then we try to encourage people and show them a way out through faith.'
