Vista is an electro-pop band based in Norwich, England. They write great melodic pop songs and combine this with an electronic production inspired by artists and sounds from the 80's to today. The duo have been working together since the 90's and have written and produced a number of albums, the latest of which is called 'Electrospective.' Apart from being a recording project they also regularly play live at a range of venues, small and large. The other side to Vista is more dance music based - a wide variety of dance producers from all over the world have remixed their songs with some great results. The following are some of Vista's recent CD and live reviews: "Vista - Stonkingly good electro pop with that most rare quality - a decent tune" Review by Sofacom Feb 07 "Vista play hypnotically sweet dance-pop melodies with blissed out charm. Their latest album contains hooky melodies and electronic swirls creating an evocative and entrancing sound complemented by delicate and seductive vocals. Vista's music would be perfect on the dance floor but equally lends itself to anyone in a more chill out mood. Pulsing rhythms, dynamic electro twists and turns and sophisticated vocals makes Vista tuned to FM perfection". Album Review in the Great Yarmouth Advertiser July 07 "The night that I went featured Vista, a late 80's/early 90's electro influenced male/female duo who know how to write great songs. Lyrical slices of every day life meld with dance based rhythm's to create a hint of Saint Etienne and Dubstar. Having attracted a world wide audience via their myspace site they deserve your attention live as well. Excellent.' Review by journalist Richard Penguin for Triangle News, Norwich March 08 "NORWICH band Vista are constantly striving to write the "perfect" pop song. Until then, they are happy entertaining the crowds in Norwich" Norwich Advertiser Jan 08 "The excellent 80's type hip hop track 'Unpredictable' by Vista is next (Really like this one)". Review of a roboradio podcast by electro veteran Gary Hunter June 08.
