Cigars for the Man, on their debut album 'The Adventures of Repus Polnud', create a bruising collection of songs that defy musical boundaries. While it will draw inevitable comparisons with Mr. Bungle, the Dillinger Escape Plan, Oceansize and sikth, Cigars for the Man refuse to be bounded by musical styles and categories, instead preferring to mix multiple musical styles into single songs to create their rich musical blend.
