Product Notes
Based on the novels by Andrea Camilleri, this Italian mystery series (called "Inspector Montalbano" in it's home country) debuted in 1999. Luca Zingaretti stars as Salvo Montalbano, the head of the police department in the fictional Sicilian town of Vigàta, who tackles one baffling crime after another while confronting his own personal demons. Cesare Bocci, Peppino Mazotta, Angelo Russo also star. Two-disc set includes "Except My Beloved Livia" and "The Safety Net. " 190 min. Total. In Italian with English subtitles.
