Product Notes
52-year-old Vietnam veteran Handsome Harry Sweeney (Jamey Sheridan, The Ice Storm, Spotlight) has lived a lie the past thirty years, suppressing the memory of a love that ended with betrayal and guilt. A phone call from an old Navy buddy (Steve Buscemi, Fargo) sets him on a journey to confront his past, and to investigate a crime from thirty years ago, seeking out 5 surviving Navy buddies from his Vietnam days. Each encounter both clarifies and further clouds the truth that haunts Harry. Can he ever earn forgiveness and regain a love he has destroyed? Directed by the brilliant Bette Gordon (Variety) and co-starring Aidan Quinn (Desperately Seeking Susan), John Savage (The Deer Hunter), and Titus Welliver (Bosch).
