SYNOPSIS:

Hoping to save his dilapidated ancestral home, Peter Plunkett (Peter O'Toole, Lawrence of Arabia, The Lion in Winter, Troy) transforms an ancient Irish castle into a haunted tourist destination in High Spirits, a whimsical fusion of comedy, horror and romance. Hijinks ensue as the ghosts of the castle become involved in the business venture. Director and writer Neil Jordan (Interview with the Vampire, The Crying Game, Greta) is supported by a stellar cast of Hollywood's finest including Daryl Hannah (Splash, Wall Street, Kill Bill: Vol. 2), Steve Guttenberg (Three Men and a Baby, Short Circuit, Police Academy), Beverly D'Angelo (National Lampoon's Vacation, American History X, Christmas Vacation), Liam Neeson (Schindler's List, Kinsey, The A-Team), Peter Gallagher (American Beauty, TV's The O.C., While You Were Sleeping) and Jennifer Tilly (Liar Liar, Bound, Bride of Chucky).
