Dear reader, Ieatpants is a physicist and writer struggling to create music in a tiny brooklyn apartment. There is claustrophobia and effects pedals and loud guitars... but through the mass of electronic noise and distortion, is an obsession with songs and their structure. I grew up listening to the kinks and joy division, and i long to re-create the idea of the musical 'twist' that brings shivers to your spine. I am often blown away by the sounds i can create here in my tiny space. It is my space. Thanks for visiting. I come from the hills of appalachia, but moved to find bigger and rustier surroundings... so i moved to the gross suburban guttermouth of Cleveland, where i played with southern rockers and noise obsessed instrumentalists... and oh the whiskey. If the cuyahoga river were to ever catch fire again, it would be because of whiskey. The city overflows like a boilermaker made pregnant with an extra shot of jim beam... but finally, i made it to the spiraling mass of concrete and steel that is New York city... so now, brooklyn is where i call home. There is less whiskey here, but inspiration abounds. Thanks brandon.
