Parody of Pleasure marks Lydia Night's bold solo debut, a consciously pop-leaning collection born from instinct and a release of previous inhibitions. Reflecting on the making of the 13-track project, Night notes that assuming complete creative control over the album profoundly reshaped her sense of self.
