THE NAVIGATOR begins in 14th century England, where the dreaded Black Death is wiping out cities all over Europe. The villagers tunnel through the cave to emerge suddenly in a bustling 20th century city. These time travelers from the Middle Ages are overwhelmed by the dazzling technology of the modern world, encountering automobiles on super-highways, television and even a nuclear submarine.
