Product Notes

From the Krystal Epic Library Collection... a part of the epic world creation of Krystal Epic by Paul Kwo. Krystal Epic is an ongoing experimental world project created by Paul Kwo to reveal a universe of people and events through the usage of multiple mediums in a non-linear fashion highlighting both the major and the tiny events in that fictional universe. This album is a collection of stories and events of an unnamed hero who journeys throughout the universe on various quests. Unknown to us is the true intent of his journey. From the music, multiple possibilities are hinted at, and it is up to the listener to decide what was the goal and objective of it all. Produced by: Paul Kwo Co-Produced and audio engineered by: Brian Thomas Donnelly Photography by: Joshua Kwo All Rights Reserved Printed in the USA Copyright and Performance Right - 2009 Artist Statement My music as with all my endeavors is my expression of the truth of my now. It is not about the past, nor is it about the future. It is about the now and the relevant. It is about my current interaction with the world and everything else in it. Music to me is not an isolated phenomenon, unattached and unassociated with life. Rather it is a direct reflection of all our other senses that defines who we are. I compose and create but my true passion is in improvisation. It allows me total freedom in the now and what is. My freestyle improv allows me to share with my listeners the truth of my current state of mind. My art improvs allows me to reveal the truth of my reactions of what I see. My thematic improvs let's me rediscvoer what was in the here. To me that is the most important part of my music. Truth can never be found, only to be strived for.
